Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) on True Blood. She’s the most perfectly realized teenage character on TV. Made a vampire by Bill Compton, she both loves and loathes her new state. Swears a blue streak when annoyed. Alternately flirty and vicious with boys. On being told she was now a vampire, declared, “I can kill anybody I want, and there’s an awful lot of people I’d like to kill.”

Zap2it’s fourth annual celebration of TV’s underrated performers feels like old times.

Last year’s list, frankly, was a little bit thin. This year, though shows like “Modern Family,” “Glee,” “Nurse Jackie” and a host of others made TV a more interesting place, and we had no shortage of good but under-recognized performances from which to choose.

Once again, we followed the guideline that a lead performer in a show, almost by definition, can’t be underrated, and we stuck with the no-repeats rule — once you’re called out as underrated, you sort of stop being underrated. It’s paradoxical like that.

Congratulations to Ken Leung, Deborah Ann Woll, Yvette Nicole Brown, Mark Salling and the rest of our nominees. You make the shows we like better.

There’s no any news about Deborah, so, while we’re waiting for the beginning of True Blood Third Season filming that starts in December, here’s the full Woody Allen, The Apocalypse and Three Other Ways To Get A Woman In Bed movie in 13 parts (HD). Loving True Blood in Dallas has some spoilers about the third season of True Blood from Alan Ball, and here’s a part of it about Jessica and the filming:

The cellphone that Jessica glamours from the limo driver is going to figure in season 3. Alan said to remember it. The cool travel coffins that Bill and Jessica traveled in are really for snowboards. Jessica and Hoyt will have competing love interests..according to Alan it doesn’t look good for them to be together.
Season 3 will begin filming in early December. It takes about 13 days to shoot an episode.
